Reunion with college mates

A new year and a new whiff of activities for me to do and the first one is reviving this blog completely. Many hours were spent into somewhat redesigning this blog of mine to something much user-friendly to everyone.

Borneo King of Drag 2013

This year has been quite a hectic year that caused me to stop taking photos. So I start back by showing my recent photos that I took in this years Borneo King of Drag challenge.

Oh and you gotta love this AE86 here. Would personally use this as a drift & gymkhana car if I own one.



Ismakom's orange CRX is back for more action and has been quite a strong competitor in these past events...



...but despite the winning aura, it had a sad ending on this event. Resulting a DNF after the car had flipped due to unknown reasons.

Shin Yang's DMC Aventador

What's the wildest Aventador have you seen in Malaysia? In my opinion, I believe that Shin Yang's DMC bodykit Aventador with a nice shade of Blue wrap completely changes the style of this hyper car. It's completely mental.



Does the wrap looks good on the car? If yes and you're planning to wrap yours with the same wrap, then prepare to know that the materials itself were rumored to be cost at RM3,000.



But it sure does look expensively beautiful on this Aventador. Just to fill you in, the DMC bodykit consists of a Carbon Fiber splitter and a Carbon Fiber GT Wing.



It's beautiful....



...and aggressive.



With the additional wing at the back, it reminds me of the Murcielago Super Veloce.



Even with the DMC kit on, the car reamins a beautiful piece of art for Lamborghini.

When you think life fails; your car + scenery = Life

I believe at many points of our life, we will face days that are bad. Be it work stress, college stress, relationship problems, dilemma situations, mid-life crisis or whatsoever. It's just that we think our life are terrible.



What do you do when all this happen? For me, I'd take a nice joyride down to the beach and enjoy the sunset. Be it silent or with soothing music, it'll make you smile.



And with the car you adore, love and appreciate; it makes your life a lot better.



With the right car (as a petrolhead), the right time, the right place and the right moment,



Your state of mind will change even with the simple type of activity.



Nothing beats enjoying the sun sets with....



... your ride and yourself.

Borneo King of Drag 2012 : The real deal (interesting parts only)

Here we are in the morning fields of Lutong Airstrip in Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia.
This is actually day 2 and apparently the qualifying round did not manage to complete on day 1, so they are forced to complete their qualifying round on day 1 before they can proceed to the Top 8 (there are usually more than 16 cars competing for the top 8 spots). So I'll just advance to the Top 8 part.



So here we go...

This is the action area. Where cars roar and tires burnt.



That is where you see the back of the action.



With cars prepped for their turn. But this is just the qualifying round. So it's nothing much intense yet.

Borneo King of Drag 2012 : The paddock

I've been truly waiting for the Drag event held in Miri and it was finally here.
So I got my way there, forgetting the traffic and the lack of parking space, I chose to ignore it.



As I parked, I immediately saw this Silvia S15 parked.



A common but cool Corolla AE86



Once, I entered the paddock area, I immediately spotted this Subaru Imprezza Tourer.

A trip to Brunei with a group of Senior friends

It was the last week for my Senior Friends to spend time together before they're off to their separate ways with their On-Job Training system from our school. So this time, it was a dream come true for Albert. To have a day spent in Brunei Darussalam. With a gang of Albert, Lim Kwang, Ah Ngu, Mr. Sing, Elain, "Kong Ghee", Ah Kitt and myself, we set off a journey with two cars. My PeroHatsu SirVee and Lim Kwang's dear's Corolla.

Having our tank filled up, we embarked.

Holiday in Sarawak : Road trip to Miri : Day 3

As the next day appears, we embarked on a road trip from Kuching to Miri. The first stop was Sarikei, located North East of Kuching
