When you think life fails; your car + scenery = Life

I believe at many points of our life, we will face days that are bad. Be it work stress, college stress, relationship problems, dilemma situations, mid-life crisis or whatsoever. It's just that we think our life are terrible.



What do you do when all this happen? For me, I'd take a nice joyride down to the beach and enjoy the sunset. Be it silent or with soothing music, it'll make you smile.



And with the car you adore, love and appreciate; it makes your life a lot better.



With the right car (as a petrolhead), the right time, the right place and the right moment,



Your state of mind will change even with the simple type of activity.



Nothing beats enjoying the sun sets with....

Speedhunting in Miri

The cars driven in Miri, Sarawak is rather interesting when a number of hidden petrolheads and Brunei-ans drive on the streets. Starting of with this Megane RS by Renault, it's a track-ready car ready to be unleashed. However, there's no race-track around except for the popular Lutong drag strip. So I guess the owner could have his/her track feel by doing it on the streets (always practise safe but 'professional' driving on the public roads)



Then came this widened and clean Toyota MR2 with...



... a different feel on the rear of the car.

Not something we see everyday in Proton's Service Center

My car has been brought to the service center to do a free gear oil change. The day was a teeny wee little bit special for the mechs over there as they do not encounter a R3 Neo very often.



It looks particularly striking when the car was lifted up.

I finally had the urge to take a videoshoot, edit and upload it into Youtube. Those Youtubers from the European continents such as Shmee150, Bozzy19 and Alex Molik have motivated me to take a videoshoot of my car.

My new Ride. A quick and simple photoshoot.

I love my ride. I really do. I love the fact that this is a Malaysian car with some Lotus Tech in it. It's no Porsche that I always dream of. It's no BMW, Mercedes, Mazda, Nissan or even the Toyota 86. It's a PROTON! The Satria Neo R3 had caught my attention since 2009. After 3 batches, I finally got one!



Why not have a photoshoot of it? It's a nice car that not many people will see. Even if it's a Proton, I doubt some of you never see this specific model on the road.

Borneo King of Drag 2012 : The real deal (interesting parts only)

Here we are in the morning fields of Lutong Airstrip in Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia.
This is actually day 2 and apparently the qualifying round did not manage to complete on day 1, so they are forced to complete their qualifying round on day 1 before they can proceed to the Top 8 (there are usually more than 16 cars competing for the top 8 spots). So I'll just advance to the Top 8 part.

With cars prepped for their turn. But this is just the qualifying round. So it's nothing much intense yet.

I've been truly waiting for the Drag event held in Miri and it was finally here.
So I got my way there, forgetting the traffic and the lack of parking space, I chose to ignore it.



As I parked, I immediately saw this Silvia S15 parked.

Once, I entered the paddock area, I immediately spotted this Subaru Imprezza Tourer.

A trip to Brunei with a group of Senior friends

It was the last week for my Senior Friends to spend time together before they're off to their separate ways with their On-Job Training system from our school. So this time, it was a dream come true for Albert. To have a day spent in Brunei Darussalam. With a gang of Albert, Lim Kwang, Ah Ngu, Mr. Sing, Elain, "Kong Ghee", Ah Kitt and myself, we set off a journey with two cars. My PeroHatsu SirVee and Lim Kwang's dear's Corolla.

Having our tank filled up, we embarked.
