Final day begins with a friend of my brother inviting us over breakfast



I really love the way these chef (they deserve the name chef) operate their stall with full of hard work.



And the outcome is one of these beautiful Sarawak Kon Lau Noodle.



Soon after our breakfast, I then went to Brunei and stopped by at THIS.



A 7-star hotel that is special for it's Gold.

As the next day appears, we embarked on a road trip from Kuching to Miri. The first stop was Sarikei, located North East of Kuching

It's Day 2 and the last day in Kuching. We embark off early for breakfast.



A very nice breakfast shop that I don't get from Kota Kinabalu.

Holiday in Sarawak (Kuching) Day 1

Sarawak is a great state. An interesting state in the island of Borneo. Joining my brother, we went to eat many many Sarawak-ian cuisines and sight-seeing.



Starting off in Kuching, as soon as I landed via airplane, we had our lunch here. A Spicy Chinese-themed Restaurant.

Just had a normal Yam Cha but with friends I haven't meet for a long time. Bryn brought his Rangefinder camera While Jason brought his 'Nendo' while I brought my Danbo Atmosphere at Starbucks was awesome!

The Dark Eclipse

It's just painful to watch this last sweet eclipse in this Tin Can.
Wonder who will eat it.
I on the other hand, have to watch my diet.

Mega Avit Camera Store

When I was in search of an External Hard Drive in Karamunsing Complex,
I suddenly saw this new camera shop.

Mega Avit is the name.
and Boy oh boy, their store looks fascinating.


Their Entrance! Boy it's big!

Inside the shop, there are many brands to see and choose from.

What a Non-DSLR is capable of

Remember I wrote on my previous post that I swapped my Camera Kit with my brother?

Yeah, This is how I can capture images without the use of a DSLR.
This will show that I don't need a DSLR to capture wonderful images.
It's all from your basics and passion to photography.

It's a Whole New Challenge in the Photography World

Well, my bro is now back in Kuching for his Studies
and now I'm all alone with my parents back at home.
It's Not Fun at all to be alone.
Yeah, brothers do fight, but we do have fun.

We both started a Challenge for each other.
We decided to Swap our Camera Kit.

He will be taking my Nikon D300s, 50mm 1.4, 24-70 f2.8, SB-900 flash and Battery Grip.
I will be taking his Olympus E-Pen 1, Lumix 20mm, 14-42 Kit Lens, 50mm LensBaby and 50mm Macro Lens.

This will indeed improve our Understandings for different type of cameras.
Also this will prove that I don't need a DSLR to take a Good Image Quality and a Nice Image.

The Olympus EP1 is Lighter, Easier to Carry and Small.
Makes my Life easier for now =]
