Holiday in Sarawak (Kuching) Day 2

Photobucket

It's Day 2 and the last day in Kuching. We embark off early for breakfast.

Photobucket

A very nice breakfast shop that I don't get from Kota Kinabalu.

Photobucket

The boss of the stall was extremely friendly!

Photobucket

And the shop was popularly known for it's Spinach Noodles.

Photobucket

Here's the Lamb Stew Spinach Noodle. Soft and tasty lamb meat.

Photobucket

The Beef Spinach Noodle, Beefed up beef with strong taste and delicious soup.

Photobucket

And my favorite, the Kon Lau Spinach Noodle. Nicely done sauce and delicious spinach noodles.

Photobucket

Not too distant away from the shop lurks a Off-Road Modified Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution

Photobucket

Next stop, was this place for late breakfast. It was a very hot day, I was sweating like mad.

Photobucket

We came for this little stall....

Photobucket

...that serves Kuching Laksa. One of the featured food of Sarawak delicacy.

Photobucket

Rich taste and vibrant colors to strike anyone who loves spicy and sour noodles.

Photobucket

We also tried Kuching's Kon Lau Mee (Ko Lok Mee)...

Photobucket

...and the Kuching's original Popiah (they don't really call this spring roll I think)

Photobucket

Most of the shops in Kuching shows this sign. We never really had that in Kota Kinabalu.

Photobucket

Soon after, we headed to Damai Beach, just North West of Kuching.

Photobucket

With the beautiful beach of course and..

Photobucket

...the beautiful scenery especially the symbol of Sarawak...

Photobucket

...and this is also where I did one of my "366 Days of Danbo" shots.

Photobucket

Turn yourself at the back and you'll see this beautiful mountain filling the background.

Photobucket

The structures around the area were amazing.

Photobucket

As we took the time to drive back into Kuching City, we had our late lunch here. A themed restaurant that specialized in Malay Cuisines.

Photobucket

When I mean themed, I really do mean themed.

Photobucket

With a large variety, we had to try...

Photobucket

The standard Nasi Lemak...

Photobucket

...and the special Nasi Ayam Penyet.

Photobucket

As we were trying to get some stuff for our next journey in a mall, we stopped by on this Bubble Tea Shop.

Photobucket

It really felt like a Japanese-themed Bubble Tea Stall.

Photobucket

And of course, why take pictures of the shop without ordering one? This is the Hokkaido Bubble Milk Tea which in short, is also known as Roasted Bubble Milk Tea.

Photobucket

As we ended buying stuff for our next journey (road trip), we went to have our Evening meal. This is a weird yet works Sprite + Green Tea Lemon drink....

Photobucket

...and a Banana Oreo Milkshake. Weird but it tastes nice.

Photobucket

For food, we had a thick Potato Curry noodle...

Photobucket

...and Fried Chicken with Onion Sauce and Fried Rice.

Photobucket

To end our night, we had a late dinner in this German Restaurant.

Photobucket

Looked similar to our Upperstar restaurant, but ours don't serve this..

Photobucket

...monster meal.

Photobucket

Known as the 'Hungry Dinosaur', it's a meal consists of a variety of German Sausages, Pork Ribs and Chicken Chop.

Stay tuned for Day 3, where I embark off from Kuching to Miri by car.
